Ride the Mount Washington Ferry, the Winnie Belle, or tour on the wooden boat classic, the Millie B. Satisfy your appetite with lunch at Garwoods, The Downtown Grille & Cafe overlooking the lake; try Mis en Place for fine dining and Wolfetrap for great seafood on the lake. The kids will love the homemade candy shoppe, Yum Yum bakery and Klickety Klak Railroad model trains museum. Be sure to visit our Libby and Boat museums as well. Tumbledown Farm is just a mile down the road is a great visit for both children and adults. The longest zip-line in America is located a half-hour away at Mt. Gunstock’s Adventure Park. Castle In The Clouds boasts an accessible waterfall, and breathtaking 360 degree mountain views. Easy lake side shopping for unusual items can be found at Black’s, NH Craft’s League, Butternuts, Kalled Gallery, and the Architectural Attic. At the end of town is one of the most beautiful shady country roads for a stroll or drive. Sewall Rd. formerly housed residents such as Mitt Romney, Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon and the Marriott Family. Walking the Sewall Rd. loop over to Carry Beach for a swim provides a glimpse of the most picturesque lake homes in the area, each one different, all with lovely views of the water.
